Empowering Education: Where Learning Flourishes in State-of-the-Art Facilities
Knowledge will bring you the opportunity to make a difference.
Classrooms
The school building comprises spacious and fully air-conditioned classrooms, with separate floors designated for O and A Level classes to maintain discipline and prevent unnecessary mingling of students.
Science Labs
Chemistry / Biology Lab
In addition to providing sound theoretical knowledge, KIMS places a lot of emphasis on practical work. Science students can conduct practicals under the supervision of teachers and trained lab assistants in our well-equipped laboratory maintained on modern lines. It is a matter of pride that our science laboratory has been one of the approved centres for the practical examinations of Cambridge International since 1997 for Keynesians as well as students of other schools. Our Chemistry/Biology Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and resources, allowing students to engage in hands-on experimentation, critical analysis, and problem-solving. With safety as our top priority, our laboratories provide a nurturing environment where curiosity thrives, fostering a passion for science that extends beyond the classroom walls.
Physics Lab
In our Physics Lab, theory meets experimentation, and understanding is forged through hands-on exploration. Students delve into the laws of Physics, from mechanics to electromagnetism, through practical demonstrations and interactive experiments. Equipped with cutting-edge equipment and guided by experienced instructors, students not only grasp abstract concepts but also develop the skills of observation, analysis, and problem-solving crucial for scientific inquiry.
Computer Lab
Our computer laboratory is air-conditioned and equipped with sufficient, up-to-date personal computers. The numerous computing facilities provide students with an excellent opportunity for hands-on training. While Computer Science/IT lessons are scheduled in the Computer Lab, other students are also encouraged to use the lab to do research for their course projects etc. Students have access to free wi-fi/internet and printing facilities are also available.
Library
A good library is essential for any educational cause; therefore, in addition to attending formal classes, students are encouraged to spend time in the library for reading and researching. The library serves the purpose of making maximum recorded knowledge on varied subjects available for students and staff members. It also renders an issuing service, allowing students to borrow items for periods ranging from a few hours to a week, depending on their need. Furthermore, latest editions of the most relevant books for O and A Level courses and past papers of all subjects are available in the library at all times. A photocopy facility is also available for students and staff members.
Rec Room / Student Lounge
Rec Room
The school has a fully air-conditioned rec room for students, where they can relax, watch TV (including some High Definition channels), enjoy music or play games on PlayStation / Xbox. Gym facilities geared towards health and fitness are also available for students.
Student Lounge
The spacious, fully air-conditioned Student Lounge caters to indoor games like table tennis, carrom board, chess etc. There is also a large covered rooftop area for students to hang out. Girls have their own common room where they can interact freely, share gossip, take rest, offer prayer, watch TV, play games etc.
Sports Areas
Our indoor is fairly balanced with the outdoor. The spacious, well-lit interior is complimented by adequate areas reserved for sports activities, open air cafeteria and plain hanging out between classes. Our sports areas comprise various facilities dedicated to physical activities and competitions, including courts for basketball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball etc.
What Our Students
Have To Say
“I have been a part of the South Asian music fraternity for over a decade now. I was the former lead vocalist of the Pakistani band JAL, after which I started my solo career. I have performed in numerous concerts worldwide and also contributed songs to Bollywood. I made my solo debut on Coke Studio 10 in 2017. To explore other talents in me, I took on acting and played the lead role in a number of drama serials. I have also walked the ramp for some of the most renowned designers in Pakistan. I did my A Level from KIMS in 2001, and later pursued a B.Sc. in Computers.”
Farhan Saeed
BATCH OF 2001“After completing my A Level in 2005, I pursued a BSc in Computer Science at FAST, followed by an MSc in Computer Science at LUMS. I have been employed at Microsoft Corporation since 2012, and am currently working on Xbox and Windows. Working abroad, I try not to miss my city, Lahore, too much. ”
Fahad Mudassar
BATCH OF 2005“I graduated from KIMS in 2004 with 6 As in A Levels. I then studied at Harvard College, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelors in Computer Science. Currently, I work as a Software Developer and live in Connecticut, USA, with my wife and 2 year old daughter.”
Zain Khalid
BATCH OF 2004“My father dreamt of travelling around the world on his motorbike, but when he died young at age 34, I decided to fulfill his dream. I took motorcycle riding lessons from my younger brother and became the first female motorcyclist to travel across Pakistan solo. I travelled through regions where it is taboo for women to venture out unaccompanied, let alone on two wheels. A biopic is being filmed about my journey called “Motorcycle Girl”. I keep a photo blog, Zenith Irfan: 1 Girl 2 Wheels, on Facebook to document my journeys. I did my A Level from KIMS in 2014.”
